You can unplug them and jumper the wires to bypass to test to see if one are all have gone bad then replace as needed. I dig into the problem myself to see what it is rather than paying some. The red light continually beeps for about a minute when excelerating or slowing down and the red light is always blinking. The control lights up but no movement in the roof or trunk lid. But the roof does not come up. Only trunk opens. This hardtop is operated by pulling up on a switch to open it or pressing the switch down to close it.

This can be caused by low fluid level or air in the hydraulic lines. The roof won t go down or up and when put up manually the wing windows wont go back up. You can manually lift the top until it touches the trunk lid. My mercedes trunk had now power to any of the lights and the trunk lid did not open.

Mercedes convertible top moves very slow. Thought the hydralics might have overheated and blown a fuse but do not have a clue where to look for the fuse. It will not either go up or down no movement at all. Weak battery or ground connection.

A jammed hardtop can be fixed by following a reset procedure. The top won t close. Try doing it again w the right sequence on how to kift up the top it might reset by itself. Usually very cheap to replace.
