Start with the high seam and install one x inch metal to metal screw. Install remaining screws one inch on center around the perimeter of the pipe flashing. Wrap the flashing around the pipe and install all snap rivets to seal the flange. Install a second screw on the high seam at the opposite end of your first screw. Press the retrofit boot down bending it to conform to the roof profile and or roof. Starting with the top studs tighten the rod couplings to approximately 3 foot pounds. These work better on smaller round chimneys and may be ideal for a stove chimney in a metal roof. Choose appropriate size retrofit flashing.
